Dans un conception romantique du mythe de Faust, une légende voisine parle d'un violoniste qui acheta sa virtuosité au diable. Je ne suis pas virtuose. J'ai donc imaginé un dialogue à ma portée entre trois voix de violon sur fond de bourdon électronique. La partie la plus aig¨e donne la tonalité de base aux autres. C'est le troisième personnage de l'histoire qui gratte et qui sussure jusqu'à l'énervement final.

For three violins and electronic in regard of a series of drawings inspired by the opera of P. Dusapin.

In a romantic conception of the Faust myth, a neighboring legend speaks of a violinist who bought his virtuosity from the devil. I am not a virtuoso. So I imagined a dialogue within my reach between three violin voices against the background of an electronic drone. The higher part gives the basic tone to the others. It is the third character in the story that itches and swells until the final nervousness.
