Three sound compositions evoking the burial and the vitality in a site both of excavation and public place for prehistoric presentation. Behind screens of puffs, grains and noises, like the accumulation in the layers of the pudding, weaves the weaving of sound events likely to maintain an imaginary relation with the topos of a cave (**).
Musical contribution to a heritage site (**)
« Enter in a cave to experience it physically and sensory, as well as for discovery and cognitive validation. Close to the context evoked by Plato, it is the imagination supported by the body that will relay the experience of knowledge in the conjunction of time and place. The musical insertion in a heritage site can participate in its (public) understanding. The sound architecture is also likely to influence the apprehension processes as well as other environmental factors (thermal comfort, hygrometry, luminosity, etc.). This site, loaded with prehistory and accessible to the public can also be read as a "natural" auditorium. The sound forms that would be devolved to him should be beyond the artifice to meet a consideration of all its complexity. That is, to consider the duality itself of its components: the space of the present around the data of the past; search for natural truths in a museographic device; areas of uncertainty and lighting; monument where various scales of proportions ... By respecting the necessary iconoclastic character, this sound proposition is understood as a complementary support; a ramp of intuitive accompanying materials. The sporadic diffusion of low intensity is immersive in counterpoint to the multiplicity of possible orientations on the site. With humility, in the light of a series of events that occurred 170,000 years ago, the "Sedimentaries" compose an acousmatic tribute to the decades of research and activities as well as to their attempts to highlight them. »
